ROOKIE RUGBY (CO-ED AGES 6-12)
Rookie Rugby is a nation-wide program designed to introduce young children to the sport of rugby in a fun and safe way. It focuses on developing fundamental skills such as teamwork, coordination, and basic rugby techniques. The program is non-contact and promotes physical literacy and active play for kids aged 6 to 12 years old. The resources provided on the Rookie Rugby website offer guidance for coaches, teachers, and parents on how to effectively teach rugby in an engaging and inclusive environment. The emphasis is on creating positive experiences that encourage children to stay active and develop a love for the game.
MINI FLAG RUGBY 2026
11 Week Program
Co-ed Ages 6-12
Kids will learn how to play a fun, safe, popular variant of the game of rugby. Your child will learn new Skills such as Passing, kicking and evading with the ball as well as improving their social and
team building capabilities. Practices and or games will take place on Saturdays.
